Drängsmark water-sawmill

Last weekend the whole family went on an adventure to a small village outside Skellefteå. There they have an old sawmill that is now run as a museum and a cafe.

The sawmill was first powered by waterpressure.

There was also some paddleboats that the visitors could rent :) Offcourse we had to give it a go!

Update Summer 2013

Hi its been a while since we updated the blog so here is a few photos from this summer. Even though I've been working pretty much all of it we still managed to get lots of family time together. And lots of icereams!

We have been for a few swims. Some in cleaner wateer than others...

There has been lots of early-morning-cuddles. Probably too many for my liking... ;)

We went the circus and Klara had a ball!

Helped granddad with the firewood up in the cottage.

Went on a cool train ride with the cuzzies on midsummers!

Spent a relaxed midsummers-evening with nice food and nice friends!

Been on many walks in the warm evening sun.

Occasionally we got lucky and got a sleep in ♥

Had to cool off on hot summer days.

Got dressed up and attended a wedding ♥

Ate more icecreams on the beach.

Had lots of visiters from Enköping ♥

We made new friends, both big and small

Threw axes and ate nice food at Svansele vildmarkscamp.



Found our future profession - want  to be like daddy :)

Found the jumping castle a bit scary at first but finally we gave it a go!

We have showed Skellefteå off to all our visitors.

And when one family left another one came... also from Enköping :)

So we made more friends! And also got the coolest scooter from grandad - what a hit!

Spend lots of time infront of the mirror! Outfit has to be approved by Klara Susan before heading out through the door!

Some mornings Klaras choice of clothes was a bit different than others. More often than not the choice is a dress and a cap...

When the weather allowed we went straight to the beach after work.

We celebrated our anniversary out on the water ♥

We even took a trip down to Umeå to visit old rugbyfriends and to crash their family-party :)
That was that for now, hopefully it wont be too long until you hear from us again ♥

Happy friday

Friday afternoon we fired up the bbq and had a early dinner out in the sun. Spring is finally here so we spend as much time as we can outside enjoying it!

Afterwards we biked of to our favourite spot - Tuvagården! That barn in the background is where Klara had her Christening ♥

The swings were a bit scary a few weeks ago but not anymore!



She never wants to stop, and if she gets it her way she wants mum and dad lined up next to her swinging away too!

One happy Klara Susan who chrashed into bed after a day full of outdoors activities. That meant mum and daddy time so we took out the lollies, put on a video and just enjoyed spending time together after a week of nightshift.

Weekend in pictures

Wednesday afternoon I picked this happy child up from kindy and that was the start of a long weekend together.

Matt still had to work all week like normal but we had the evenings together. We try to make the most out of them so here we had been for a long bike ride and stopped at a playground on the way home. 

Friday evening finally came which meant daddy-time too :)

Klara Susan decided to wake up around 5ish every morning.. so we have had many hours together around the breakfest table.

Needed to stock up on groceries and found this cutie on special xx gumboots and rainjacket is due to terrible weather most days...

Not much fun outside in the rain so had warm baths instead inside.

Saturday we packed the family in the car and headed out to the beach... hopefully next time we return it will be a bit warmer...

Must be the smell of ocean that makes everyone happy...

...especially Cash! He was running wild :)

Cash even went for this years first swim... needless to say we didnt stay long after that... outside temperature around 5degrees and god knows how cold in the water...

Sunday finally came with warm weather and we started the morning with a family walk up in the forest behind us.

Later Klara cooked us all lunch...

In the afternoon we could even peel of a few layers of clothes and went up to the playground for a play. Klara discovered the digger and that was a hit! Like father - like daughter :)

Finished the weekend off like we started it - with Mum&Klara-time. Matt has been working crazy hours lately due to a big project at work and tonight he went back into night shift again. Which means I wont see him until friday afternoon... :( Bring on friday I say!
