Summer 2012 utdates

We had a lovely visit from Uppsala - Olof, Sanna and Vera called in to collect their late wedding gift on their way pass. A visit to Svansele vildmarkscamp was the present and it was well appreciated :)

Some of us even went swimmimg in the ocean. With only 12degress on the teperature gauge even Cash was a bit hesitant..

Because the weather has been a bit off this summer we tried to make the most of what we had :) Klara didnt seem to mind tho!

Someone started a rugbyteam... soon time for their first game against Umeå. With 15-20 guys on every training we can surely call it a success!!

Someone even turned really old... She was spoilt rotten and got a new bike from her awsome husband and parents :)

Me and Cash has been doing some dogtraining - getting back into the life of a one-dog-family ♥ Can safely say that we are getting there!

Klara has found a new hobby - rapporting in all the birds on street! Its a tough job but someone's gotta do it!

We visited the town library - needless to say that Klara found a little bit of heaven there...

So many walks - so much qualitytime ♥

Ive also got an extrahand helping me with the dishes now :)

That was that -now the autumn is here... So job, kindergarden and jobhunting is on the agenda! And plenty more time updating the blog ofcourse ♥

Aunti Helen's 50th

One rare hot summer evening we headed up to Rålund and my auntie Helen's 50th bday party. Lots of people, nice food, drinks and mosquitoes... It was great :)

Where did they go you might have been wondering?
Well we have been here all along but too busy updating the blog I see. So hold your horses folks, there will be some updates and photos of what we have been up to the last few weeks!

On rainy days...

...it nice to look back and remember that swedish summer actually can be pretty nice. Like the other day when the sun was shining and we packed the car full and headed out to Byske havsbad.

weekend away

Last weekend we left Klara at nana and grandad's and headed north for some quality time ♥ We went to Storforsen which is Europe's biggest rapid and stayed a night at a nearby hotell. It was truly an experience and we both really enjoyed it! Thats our hotell you can spot at the bottom of the rapid.

There's a walk from the hotell all the way up to and along the rapid. So armed with warm clothes and camera we headed off!

Due to the huge amounts of snow last winter the river was extra powerfull this summer

So amazing!

Since our anniversary is coming up we thought of this as a pre-celebration ♥♥

Next to the rapid was a calmer side - just as beautiful tho

Summer days

Finally the warmth came and we could blow up Klara's little pool!

Sorry for the absence

The last weeks have been filled with joy and sorrow so unfortunately the time spend updating the blog has been minimal. Gonna do my best to fill you guys in on whats been happening :) Well starting off with the good stuff - we have finally moved into our own place Yay! Its still a mess and unorganised but at least its our mess so it doesnt matter!

Our new place doesnt have a big bath so Klara is back where she started- in the small one! But she doesnt seem to mind it - she loves having a bath. Cant wait for some warm summer days so we can blow up the pool for her outside :)

We have been visting many different playgrounds and suprise suprise - Klara loves it haha going down the slide is a favourite and playing in the sand is another.

The swings used to be a bit scary but not anymore. And hello tooth nr 5! Nr 6 and 7 is almost here too so there is alot happening!

Now to the sad thing. Me and Matt took the heartbreaking decision to put our sweetheart Boston to sleep last week. He has not been well over a long period of time and when this started to affect his mind we decided that this was the best thing to do before anything terrible would happen. For those that knows us well they know that Boston was our little baby, and we have truly been devistated that it had to end like this. He was such a good dog and has taught us so much about ourselves. Living down in Enköping he was what kept me company when Matt was away and he would come every where with us - if he couldnt come - we wouldnt go ;)
There has been many tears and the house feels extremly quite without him but we know he is in a better place now.

Poor Cash who has never been alone, has also been very down the last few days. We try to cheer him up and ourselfs as well because life moves on!
