We are back :)

Where did they go you might have been wondering?
Well we have been here all along but too busy updating the blog I see. So hold your horses folks, there will be some updates and photos of what we have been up to the last few weeks!
So enjoy and soon we will be up to scratch to today :)

On rainy days...

...it nice to look back and remember that swedish summer actually can be pretty nice. Like the other day when the sun was shining and we packed the car full and headed out to Byske havsbad.

Klara was in heaven - here was two of her favourite things - sand and water :)

weekend away

Last weekend we left Klara at nana and grandad's and headed north for some quality time ♥ We went to Storforsen which is Europe's biggest rapid and stayed a night at a nearby hotell. It was truly an experience and we both really enjoyed it! Thats our hotell you can spot at the bottom of the rapid.

There's a walk from the hotell all the way up to and along the rapid. So armed with warm clothes and camera we headed off!

Due to the huge amounts of snow last winter the river was extra powerfull this summer

So amazing!

Since our anniversary is coming up we thought of this as a pre-celebration ♥♥

Next to the rapid was a calmer side - just as beautiful tho

Our hotell! We can really recommed all of you's to make the drive up here for a visit - it is truly worth it!

Summer days

Finally the warmth came and we could blow up Klara's little pool!

Klara is a true kiwigirl when it comes to water - she absolutely loves it!

Sorry for the absence

The last weeks have been filled with joy and sorrow so unfortunately the time spend updating the blog has been minimal. Gonna do my best to fill you guys in on whats been happening :) Well starting off with the good stuff - we have finally moved into our own place Yay! Its still a mess and unorganised but at least its our mess so it doesnt matter!

Our new place doesnt have a big bath so Klara is back where she started- in the small one! But she doesnt seem to mind it - she loves having a bath. Cant wait for some warm summer days so we can blow up the pool for her outside :)

We have been visting many different playgrounds and suprise suprise - Klara loves it haha going down the slide is a favourite and playing in the sand is another.

The swings used to be a bit scary but not anymore. And hello tooth nr 5! Nr 6 and 7 is almost here too so there is alot happening!

Now to the sad thing. Me and Matt took the heartbreaking decision to put our sweetheart Boston to sleep last week. He has not been well over a long period of time and when this started to affect his mind we decided that this was the best thing to do before anything terrible would happen. For those that knows us well they know that Boston was our little baby, and we have truly been devistated that it had to end like this. He was such a good dog and has taught us so much about ourselves. Living down in Enköping he was what kept me company when Matt was away and he would come every where with us - if he couldnt come - we wouldnt go ;)
There has been many tears and the house feels extremly quite without him but we know he is in a better place now.

Poor Cash who has never been alone, has also been very down the last few days. We try to cheer him up and ourselfs as well because life moves on!

Mothers day

My second mothers day and its been a treat. Sleep-in followed by my favourite brekkie - french toast with bacon and maple surup :) Then we packed the car full and headed to the ocean so the doggies could have a swim and a run-around.
The rest of the day was also spent out in the sun, reading books, sunbathing and running after baby girl. It couldnt have been better ♥



So much to explore

Finally the warmth came to Norrland too and we could put on some lighter clothes. We could walk barefeet in the grass - some for the first time this year - some for the first time in their life ♥

A little bit scary it was but no worries when dad is close by.

Klara really loves beeing outside, no fun when its time to go inside.

Running free

Once Klara finally figured this whole walking-thing out there has been no stopping her! Be carried or pushed in the stroller is boring - so much more fun running around and exploring the world!

Boston is a good steady support when Klara goes off-road :) Mum and dad thinks this new chapter in Klara's life is awsome, however its a wee bit more difficult to get a good photo of her now... Baby girl is never still ;)

another long weekend

We just had another long weekend here in Sweden and it was great to have Mattie home with us for 4 whole days. But Matt couldnt really help himsef and had to do some work anyway. He was helping my sister Linda and her husband Anders to build their veranda. Its gonna be great once its finished! Lots of bbq there I tell ya!

We also spend lots of time outside when the sun finally came out :)

This weekend...

... we visited the playground again and tried the swings with dadda

we also did lots of walking, with or without holding on to a safe hand :)

Had to help mum with some housework, she has a hard time getting anything done without me!

She just wants to laugh and play all the time :)

We also hanged out with the cousins - building veranda, visiting garagesales and reading books was just some of the things we got up to.

Had to finish of this busy weekend by having a bath with Isa :)
